I love how this book is an informational book but also has amazing illustrations. Often times, kids can get bored or overwhelmed with information if it is just a bunch of words and facts on a page, but I like how this book does a good job at illustrating the words in the pictures above. At the end, I like the section of "Groundhog Facts" just to help kids remember some important facts about them. ( )

This is a nonfiction book about Groundhog day. To introduce this day to children, this is a great book that explains why we celebrate. ( )
