Magical Town. Independent NP looking to start work at a small town clinic. Grumpy, but smoking hot town baker with a secret (or two). He's very growly and grouchy, but he softens for her and she's independent with a takes-no-shit attitude. Also, lavender lemon bars? Delish!

I love our FMC in this and how she just charges ahead with things and how it ends up dragging our poor grouchy baker for a ride. She's smart and no nonsense and I love how she deals with the twists that come into the story. The spicy scenes are a medium level of spice and I'm here for it.

The only drawback is how unsanitary some of the spicy kitchen scenes are....but it's a fantasy so we'll pretend the rules don't matter :D
