Knowing the author personally it is a very honest account of his and his family's lives. It reflects Manfred's love for his family and others, his fears, frustrations, triumphs, faith in God and perseverance through the many difficulties he has faced. The book has been written in segments to capture a person's life or events and so there is sometimes a cross over of detail, but this lends itself to one telling stories of his family. The text is often flavoured with German and Zulu language, which Manfred has given translation to. I believe the use of the native language at the time gives extra feeling to the story being told. What is also good to see are the many inserts taken from family members who add to the validity of the family story. A reader who is struggling to hear and trust God, and feels prayers are not being answered, will take great encouragement from this book. The use of scriptures throughout the book gives one confidence in knowing that God's Word is truth for all life situations. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
