I was 100 percent invested in navigating this story to get the answers that I needed. Everything was going great on this bumpy road and I was on the edge of my seat. For most of this story, I've been on the fence with who to trust as I tried to uncover the mystery of what happened between Pia, Ada and Roy. I somewhat got the answers in the ending but then the story just ended with what happens next with Domino and Ada.There is no future or even a happily for now. The major scene with the Roy, Ada, Domino, and Jaguar just leaves me hanging with only a blip that more will be divulged in Jaguar's book. Say what?!? I figured these characters were entitled to their own happily ever after before we start on Jaguar as story.
To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I feel like I've wasted my time getting invested in Ada and Dom. This is a shame because up to that point this was close to a five star book. Instead, I'm barely able to give it a three star rating. I am basing this all on the ending because up to that point that author had written an exceptional book.
I'm still a huge fan of this author but this was disheartening. (
