That being said...in spite of it getting my usual 5 stars...it was probably my least favorite of the entire series. Our two guys were apart from one another throughout almost the entire book!!! In book #5, they were cursed with a spell that they couldn't touch each other. You sure know how to stop our hearts, Ms. Brice! That one had a good ending so I held my breathe while wishing...hoping...knowing, that Morgan Brice surely wouldn't do that to us. Somehow she would bring them back together. (fingers crossed). Without Seth, who was occupied visiting his dead family curtesy of the warlock that they came to Cleveland to kill, Evan had the opportunity to show us how far he had come in his training with Seth by setting in motion the plan to rescue Seth. We met some amazing and sometimes downright scary new people that answered the call to assist Evan in his efforts. We also saw Evan reunite with the obviously only good person in his homophobic family, his younger brother. Parker turns out to not only be buckets of help but I'm happy to see that he will probably appear in future books...and please, please, please, let there be many, many future books. This series and Morgan Brice's "Badlands" series are my absolute favorites. I never get tired of reading them. I'll soon start my 6th rereads of both series. Ms. Brice should have had time to write book #7 by the time I get back through book #6. Believe me when I say these two series are magic in more ways than one. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
