action-packed narratives follow wwii (September 1944-March 1945?) tank battles from the perspectives of young soldiers (kids, really) from both the American and German sides. I wasn't super interested in the story (it didn't help that I have trouble keeping track of characters in general, and this book hops from one soldier to another), but the storytelling is good, with plenty of action and tense/tragic situations, so readers who enjoy battle stories should like this plenty.
