Every girl needs to have an Ian in her life - he's dark and mysterious, ridiculously sexy, and will protect those he loves with his very life if needed. While he's usually the one in control, he would do just about anything to make his woman happy. And Natasha? I always loved her. Sure, she was ruthless - most assassins are, right? But I knew there was so much more to her and I loved reading about her vulnerable side - the side that needs love just like the rest of us. If there was ever a pair perfectly suited for one another, it's Ian and Natasha. Loved, loved loved, their story!! If you haven't read the series, don't wait!! This time around we’re back to the action, jetting around as BDI is trying to stop the human trafficking and bring down the Syndicate that Tasha (as Calypso), is forced to work for.
You definitely don’t have to have read the HOT series to know what is going on here, but I would recommend reading the Black’s Bandits series at least. You get backstory on other characters that feature in the continuing parts of the series.
I enjoyed Tasha’s sarcasm and sense of humour in this one. There were a few scenes where she was rubbing the boys that made me laugh. I appreciated that she is written as such a strong character and I feel like her and Ian are well matched, Harris brings an intensity to both characters that translates and leaves us with some great sparring moments and some very sexy moments as well.
I thoroughly enjoyed this one - Ian definitely lived up to the hype!
