It was really cute, but I feel like it can be confusing for kids and i think there are better bilingual books out there. This book follows the story of a English speaking bird who comes across a hungry Spanish speaking dinosaur. The bird tries to figure out what the dinosaur wants to eat. The bird only speaks English but can understand Spanish so they are communicating to one another in different languages. The illustrations are simple but follow the story well and are darling. I loved this book, I really enjoy that its in both English and Spanish to follow the story rather than it just being translations of the same story. I think this would be a great addition to my primary classroom library. A comical bilingual picture book about a bluebird trying to figure out what a sharp-toothed orange dinosaur would like to eat. The bird lists food options in English and each time the picky dinosaur repeats the option in Spanish before declining ("¿Pescado? No, gracias.”). As the story progresses, it appears that the bluebird might just be on the dino’s menu! Have no fear though, there is a happy ending to this story about a hangry dino and his bluebird friend. A great bilingual book, particularly for 2-5 yr. olds, that features expressive and cute art with legible text in front of a white background for easy comprehension. The book has simple conversational style to the text as well. I’m a big fan of comical picture books and this was a hit in our Storytime at Irvington. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

When a bluebird comes upon a dinosaur who's down in the dumps, he asks what's wrong. "Tengo hambre!" says the dinosaur. I'm hungry! Does the dinosaur want a banana? "Pltano? No." Fish? "Pescado? No, gracias." Nothing seems to do the trick! What does dinosaur want to eat? This delightful bilingual picture book is about finding just the right food--and just the right friend.
