Everyone's the same...except not. This book, while trying to outline that everyone's the same on the inside, just points out the differences between each bird. There is no real conflict. One page will talk about how one bird finds x y and z weird about the others. Then on the next they magically learn that it's what's on the inside that matters or something to that degree. There are some grammar mistakes and places where sentences seem more like fragments than actual sentences. Besides that, the font is honestly kind of horrendous and I don't like that I can't view the text and the picture at the same time. Again, decent story idea but one that could have been done better. (And again, has already been done better.) (*Note I received a free copy from LibraryThing's Member Giveaway program in exchange for an honest review.) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
Thelma the Toucan, Steve the Seagull and Violet the Vulture all meet at the top of the tallest tree in the forest. Each of them looks the others over, under the assumption that they are different and better than the others because they have different features. What they find out is that beyond the physical attributes, talents and what they eat, they each are an important and beyond their subtle differences they are the same in a lot of other ways.
