I loved this as it was a nice blend of small town with a hint of weirdness (versus a deluge of it) as well as a big (mostly) queer family. Gage I guess came over from a different series I also need to read, and he was a joy to the Sunday family but especially Knox’s world. I appreciated how they addressed Knox’s well being along with Gage’s options for life, and I look forward to seeing them more as I’m heading immediately into the next book. ( ) DNF at 12%. I had a different feel for Gage from his brothers' points of view in the Whispering Key series, so I stumbled a bit in the initial chapter. And then, reading Knox's point of view in chapter two? They sound too much alike!? Oh no. No. I won't put in that kind of effort for a novel I bought to enjoy. FWIW, I think it might have worked better to establish Knox first, even though Gage is the "known" character. But really, this needed a better editor, and I am disappointed it didn't get that attention. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
