This one is pretty forgettable. Though I read the book a mere month ago, I had to pick it up and remind myself of what even happened in the book. The plot involves an international criminal mastermind calling a summit of the world's top criminal leaders in order to tell them that he is setting up a African nation to be a sanctuary for criminal enterprises. (Kinda like what the Seychelles and a few other Third World island get-aways have done.) Along the way, Remo gets amnesia and thinks he's a hitman who works for the criminal mastermind. It's a decent enough premise, but just kind of bland. I was hoping for more. It's not bad, but it's not great or particularly memorable, unfortunately. Review copyright 2008 J. Master Chiun and his protege Remo Williams descend on the scene to combat the treacherous plot...but not without a fight. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
