Old and new murders and ingenious red herrings. Modern nuns with traditional families pepper this cozy mystery. Sister Maggie comes from a household of cops (in Brooklyn!), had her twin sister disappear from a family vacation when she was eleven (shades of Phryne Fisher) and is subject to clairvoyant visions (shades of Dr. Siri Paiboun), and is an agile administrative type at 65 (in Indiana!). There's a whole lot that goes on and a cast of characters that delight (and some that disgust) but no spoilers here. Worked with and for nuns for years in health care settings but am not of their denomination. Loved the people and the mystery!
