In which the coven finds itself in a spot of bother emanating from one of their number's evil twin, who, with the aid of two shady accomplices, abducts two of their children, and contains them in a benign servitude which seems destined to become less benign over time. To control the rogue witch, young witch Phoebe is compelled to reenact the famed labors of Hercules, an endeavor which takes the coven around the world and even into the perils of the underworld. The novel is inventively structured to challenge the reader to do considerable sorting to distinguish good from evil, and the labors are a pleasant reprise of the mythological labors, familiar to most from childhood days. Another installment in the Leafy Tom series. This one finds Phoebe challenged to complete modern versions of the labors of Hercules in order to bring a rogue witch under control. If she fails, Mowenna will remain in exile. If she fails, it could have catastrophic consequences for the witch community. The same familiar characters are joined by new faces and the team begins to grow as more witches sign on to help. And Phoebe gets to visit all sorts of countries she has only heard about...and practice her languages. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
