Tom's grandmother is very forgetful and repeats herself often, but as long as he is there to help her, everything works out just fine. A boy's grandma comes to live with her family and notices that she forgets a lot of things. They form a strong friendship and he helps her as much as he can. Sometimes they just sit near each other and are content without talking. This book has a very poetic style of text.

Rhyming story that explains what it may be like to be living with someone who has the beginning stages of Alzheimer's. I think the sing song rhyming may make it a little more of a calming situation to grasp and not make it so scary.
