I really like that this book is in the form of a commonly known song "the wheels on the bus go round and round" however the adaptation is bringing attention to different aspects of Chinese culture such as food, Chinese families, and dining etiquette. there is a glossary in the back that gives more information in all of these areas and it is presented in a fun, concise, and educational way. I would use this book in my classroom! An Asian family gathering for dinner at a round table and eating together, eating each course together. Words describing what different family members are referred to as and what they are currently eating. Along with additional information on writhing, food, names, and etiquette in their culture. Good for younger kids. 1st-2nd? This book is put to the time of "Wheels on the Bus", which makes it engaging for students, and it teaches students about Asian culture as well. Something that is cool about this book is that it has a food glossary with descriptions, and there are also informational pages on Chinese families too. I would say that this book would be a great read-aloud for primary classrooms, and can also be used during independent reading time. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
