Interesting book about a great actor (loved the many pictures, too). I ended up feeling very sorry for him as a human being, though. He seemed a very sad man. A talented and gifted man, but a sad one. Not a kind portrait of wife #3, either. ( )
Oh My..an affair with Danny Kaye!!! Excellent insight into the life and times of Sir L...good examination of how he was a product of his era and his ego. Liked the inclusion of the history of the English theatre and how he was shaped by it and of course his influence. ( )
