The Ghost Dance Judgement
(Golgotha #4)
by R.S. Belcher
I love that the whole gang is back in Golgotha! This is another amazing read! This one is definitely more horror than adventure! Book #3 was more adventure than horror.
I love these characters and surprised when we lose a couple. Sob! Not telling which ones. This is full of battles, action, creatures, and evil! Man is evil enough and in all these books have had a big part of showing how evil they can be!
The plot is interesting and unpredictable. Loved it. I hope he has another! Ends as if he could or not. Such a tease!
I love this series! A wild west horror book series! That is wild! ( )

It's like coming home, even if the premise is a tiny bit different with the book starting in the present and the main story being told as a tale from the past. Of course that was done to lay the ground work for the next volume, clever, clever.
Another very enjoyable part was the breaking of the fourth wall when Mutt spoke to his dad, another clever and funny idea for explaining why he was not in the other two books.
Other than that the story was once again extremely entertaining, I like that Belcher can write in a fast pace without omitting important details, which was a delight after having read too many books recently where over describing seemed to be the norm.
The battle at the end of the story was this time maybe not as thrilling as it was the other times but then it was also not as an important part for defeating the evil as it was in the previous volumes, yet, it was the first time, that the story made me cry, damn you R.S.Belcher!
All in all a very solid book, in which Belcher didn't take himself all too serious from time to times. Can't wait for part five! ( )
