𝐖𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐰𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐫.A fake.A fraud in a suit with a sexy smirk that overwrites everything I ever told myself to steer clear from--men with shady ambition, money, and who can pack a suit like it's should be against the law. But he wants me, and in all Wade Lockwood fashion, he doesn't allow things to not go his way. Even if he's wrong and betrayed my trust in the best way ever to which I directly cut you out of the picture.Furthermore, he won't allow me to break our agreement, daring me to put myself in one hell of a financial situation to get myself out from under his thumb. He wants forgiveness.I need a way out.And I'll take whatever means necessary to ensure that I'll never have to see him again.I don't like to be cornered, and he doesn't like to share his toys.A plan that proves to be easier said than done when my mangled heart--that traitorous thing--still beats for him. From start to finish, it felt like I was reading a soap opera rather than a romance novel and I just wasn't feeling it. Too much was happening all at the same time and that just made my once hopeful reading experience dwindle down… fast. I won't spoiler it too much but damn, the family drama was a hot mess and the back and forth between Reagan and Wade left a bad taste in my mouth. Sadly enough, I could see the appeal for other readers but this wasn't for me.
