My review for v1 could nearly be cut-and-pasted here for my review of v2. Still a fun series, still with some quibbles. The beginning is even more confusingly disjointed than usual because it's part of an eight issue crossover but only the two Spider-Gwen issues are collected in this volume. I still feel like Gwen's friends are more like set dressing to Gwen's story rather than fully realized characters in their own right. I appreciated evil!Matt Murdock (the reason I started reading this series, to be honest), but oh boy does his interest in Gwen come off as creepy. He's definitely predatory, so even though his interest doesn't read as sexual to me, it still feels creepy.

The "All-New Wolverine Annual" issue is great fun, my personal highlight of the volume. ( )
