Loved this!! Conrad is tasked with auditing books at his job and finds transactions that don’t add up. He then sees someone trashing his bosses office with glowing eyes. He’s pretty freaked out, and things escalate to a point where he needs protection. He doesn’t realize it, but Conrad is about to get immersed in the world of werewolves. Ryder is completely drawn to Conrad. Even though he realizes they are mates, he doesn’t rush things and their relationship progresses in what felt like a normal time. Yes, the story itself only took place over a few days, but they got to know each other before jumping in together, so it felt more natural. I liked reading about all of these guys and can’t wait to read more in this series.

This is a spinoff from Macy Blake's Chosen One universe, specifically off the hellhound books. Some of the main characters are wolf shifters who are also PIs. We've seen them show up as side characters in some of the hellhound books.

So, we have Conrad, who is a number cruncher and just found out that his boss is stealing, and then some strange men break into the office, so he needs help. He calls his sister, Connie, who knows people, and she sends out a PI she knows. Ryder heads out, and discovers that Conrad is his mate.

There is a lot of fun in this, as well as a lot of danger. I just want to know who names their twins Conrad and Connie. I mean, that's just not fair. I think that Connie is pretty awesome though. I think she is definitely fierce and an alpha through and through.

I can't wait to see how everything works in the upcoming books. ( )
