This book was recommended to me in a book group. The passage that she had highlighted was so good that I knew I had to read it. The man, Alec, who said it lived up to that quote because he had several good ones. He was definitely aloha all the way. I won't lie and say that I wasn't ready to kill him at a certain part because I was. Holy hell, was I ever. Thank God I held on because it all made sense in the end.
My biggest issue, and why this didn't rank higher was because there was just so much I didn't understand in regards to Alec and his brother, Rowan. I liked that it was somewhat resolved at the end but I felt like it could have been more. (
