Samantha Spinner is at it again in this second book of the series. Her Uncle Paul has disappeared but before he left he gave each of the children special gifts. Samantha received a rusty umbrella and then some purple sunglasses. She felt slighted until she realized her gifts were to help her follow the clues to find her lost uncle.

This title is very plot driven and can be sometimes confusing to follow. Readers who enjoy fast paced mysteries will love helping Samantha follow the clues to find her uncle. The author also used humor to keep the story light and fun. ( )
