Back then, I had it all. Wicked fastball. Killer instinct. Cocky grin. Full package. (And believe me, I knew how to score.) My senior year, I was a first round draft pick with a two-million-dollar signing bonus. Before I could even legally buy myself a beer, I made my Major League debut. Point is, I was invincible. Until one day I wasn't. After tanking my career--during the World Series, no less--the last thing I want to do is return to my hometown, where every jerk in a ball cap has an opinion about what went wrong with my arm. So when my sister drags me back to town for her wedding, I vow to get in and out of there as quickly as possible. Then I run into April Sawyer. In high school we were just friends, but I'd always wanted her, and I'd never forgotten her--the red hair, the incredible smile, the crazy, reckless thing we did in the back of my truck the night we said goodbye. It's been eighteen years, but one look at her and I feel like my old self again. I can still make her laugh, she can still take me down a notch, and when the chemistry between us explodes, it's even hotter this time around--and I don't want it to end. But just when I think I'm ready to let go of the past and get back in the game, life throws me a curveball I never saw coming.… (más)

Unforgettable is truly a book that I won't forget. It's the final book in the Cloverleigh Series focusing on the last Sawyer sister, April, and with the second chance sports romance with the focus being on Tyler Shaw, the one who she had a crush on when she was younger and hasn't talk to in a while since she got pregnant with their child.

Overall, I absolutely loved Tyler and April's story, with the focus on both sports and also dealing with adoption. And the steam, as always, did not disappoint. I also absolutely loved the second half from April and Tyler dealing with the media that got spread about Tyler and also seeing their son.

One of the things I did guess early on though that Chip was Charles, and I turned out to be right about it.

I absolutely loved the family dynamic within this entire series and the Sawyer sisters in general. Frannie and Mack, Chloe and Oliver, Meg and Noah, Sylvia and Henry, and Tyler and April.

Also, the proposal at the end with Tyler throwing a pitch and April catching it to be a ring was so cute!

I am curious about Harlow and her new series, Bellamy Creek, so it'll be quite the interesting and fun thing for me to read. I thought that it was connected to Cloverleigh but it does look separate, so overall, I'm going to check that one out and see how it is.

All in all, this is definitely another romance favorite for me to add to the list. I got so quickly addicted to Cloverleigh and the Sawyer siblings, and one that I definitely don't mind reading again. ( )

Ok I went into this already knowing the backstory, so that may have affected my read of it; I definitely enjoyed it, although I feel as though Tyler’s journey didn’t quite get fleshed out enough. It’s interesting to see how April had a good relationship with her therapist, but also Tyler seemed as though he really could have used one (& no matter what they say, an old coach mentor doesn’t count as an actual therapist). Still a nice conclusion to this part of the Cloverleigh stories which as I’ve already read are continuing with the next generation. ( )

I'm always a fan when an author handles something important in a careful way. This could have gone a bazillion different ways for the main characters and their lives if this secret was to get out. However, it was handled with care and showed not only the importance of it but how life-altering it is for all parties.

Great ending to Cloverleigh Farms. ( )

Book five of the Cloverleigh series and it certainly didn't disappoint. I've been looking forward to April's story since the first book, Irresistible. I laughed at the Sawyer sisters and their antics. Loved, loved, loved Fran and Mac's wedding and updates on each sister. I cried at what April endured and sacrificed in her younger years. The impact of those choices haunted her for years to come.
April Sawyer loves her family and the life she's built at her family's farm. But something is missing. At first she thought a vacation was needed. A break from all the demanding brides and pushy clients she plans events at Cloverleigh farms, but the vacation left her melancholy. She begins therapy without telling anyone in her family, something that just not done in her close-knit family. The one person she thought she would never see again walks back into her life. Tyler Shaw.
Tyler doesn't know which is worse: returning home after his fall from grace or his sister forcing him out of seclusion for her wedding? No, it's seeing the only woman he truly loved--April Sawyer. He lusted after her all through high school. She always took care of him and his sister. He never made a move until his last night home. Right before he left to start his baseball career. His career crashed around him during the World Series. He never recovered. He finds a life he never knew he wanted. A life after baseball.
Can their future survive the skeletons of their past? ( )

The perfect conclusion to a very good series. I cried in certain parts not gonna lie, this book was less fun (but it still was, no worries) but more emotional. I appreciated how the author approached the adoption theme in this book. It was truly well done and so delicate. The guilt discussion of "leaving your baby behind" even if it's for the best but also working on accepting there's nothing wrong in not being ready and giving them the best life they could ever have. I adored how therapy was present in this book, it showed the importance of asking for help and it deserves all the praise for it. Let's talk about it more people!! Let's break this stigma of therapy taboo talks. It's important. Overall this series was truly one of the best small town I've ever read. There was not unneccesary drama and it was truly fun. My favorite is without any doubts book 4 but I still absolutely adored this one too. ( )
