The crocodile plans every day, down to the "T" and doesn't intend on changing his plans. He plans on cooking the monkeys but eventually becomes friends with them. This is a good book to introduce what timelines are to students. The illustrations are very colorful and eye catching. It caught my attention so I think it'll engage students as well. In my opinion, this book was entertaining for two main reasons. First, I thought that this book had a great plot line that was extremely creative. Mr. Crocodile creates a schedule and the monkeys that he plans to "cook" throughout the day continue to ask him "What time is it, Mr. Crocodile?". We experience his adventure throughout the day as he explains his tasks with inventive language such as, "Croc-Cola" and "barnacle bagel". The other reason I thought this book was entertaining is because every time the monkeys ask for the time, there is a clock incorporated into each illustration that represents the time that coincides with Mr. Crocodile's original schedule. This central message of this book conveys that children should choose friendship over being mean to others and they will be much happier. The crocodile decides not to cook the monkeys, and realizes that he gains several friends as a result of his decision. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
