I thoroughly enjoyed Hatemates. Original storyline, wonderful characters, steamy love scenes and hilarious dialogue that had me laughing out loud a few times. I was disappointed when Alex and DJ's story ended and look forward to reading more in future books in the series. ( )

This is about Alex and DJ. Alex is a female assigned to a male dorm and roommate supposedly by mistake because her name could be mistaken as male. Honestly, in this day and age, I don't see how this could happen and I honestly don't see a college being that apathetic to a mistake like this. So, now that I have that out of the way, I concede that this is fiction and it makes for an interesting conflict and story.

There are really no surprises in this book. We really know how it is going to turn out. Both characters have interesting back stories and I was wishing for more about them and less about the college party scene. The book kept my interest for the most part, it just could have been more. ( )

As Alex and DJ’s story unravels, we see and feel the love and the heat! It keeps you engaged with humour, fun, honesty, heart-melting moments and sexual tension. What seeps through is their continued witty, flirty banter and amazing chemistry.

As always Mickey Miller does not disappoint, I just could not put it down! I highly recommend Hate Mates and author Mickey Miller! ( )

Aww... I loved this story! You know that saying "opposites attract"? Well, do they ever, and in a most delicious way!

I loved the slow burn. The way they push each other's buttons in the beginning , for no other reason then trying to get a rise out of the other. Then the friendship, the sharing of secrets, then.....BA-BAM!!! Of course, no romance story would be complete without the guy messing up in some way, shape or form, and DJ does not disappoint. Yes, I know, the girl can mess up too, but c'mon ladies, how often do we do that? (LOL).

I've read all of this author's books and he never ceases to amaze me with how easily he seems to slip into a different trope. This was a great story, with wonderful characters (I love Alex!!), and all the feels. Definitely grab it!! ( )
