Based on the 'Lady and the Tramp' fairy-tale/retelling, I came into this with high expectations and whenever I do with any read, they're never met. Partially because of the hot cover, I was instantly drawn to this and I tried to like this. I really really try but with it’s unlikable characters and non-existent plot, it was meh. The erotic scenes were enjoyable but there was barely a solid storyline to fully reel me in so skimming came in to play. Sadly, this just wasn’t for me. This is definitely not the version of Lady and the Tramp that Disney filmed. Although, I would pay good money to see a version of it. Lots and lots of good money. As in here, take all my money. Anyhow, Lady Delilah is celebrating her Season in London, trying to find a husband among the ton, but then she gets left with a horrible woman, and things change. Delilah was just such a happy character in the beginning. It's like there was a joyfulness that radiated out of her and touched everyone who saw her. That changes through the book, but in a good way, I think. The Tramp, Henry, might be on the wrong side of the law, but I think that he's probably the best man in the book. He's honorable, and he stands by his honor, no matter what. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

I loved this book! Delilah is young and innocent. She does not know her way around. Something in her appeals to the Tramp and he decides he must have her. I liked how the Tramp could be gentle but did not allow her to push him. Watching Delilah surrender and learn about her body and intimacy was beautiful. This is heavy on the Tramp and Delilah's intimate moments. It shows the Tramp's obsession with Delilah as well as why Delilah does not want to go back into society. She is freer with the Tramp. It also moves the story along. I loved that Delilah got her revenge as she realizes she is stronger than she ever thought.
I will miss these characters. I look forward to reading more of Golden Angel. ( )
