Kat is one of the few humans left living in the Andorra sector. Zombies have taken over the world and humans are lunch for them. And in her little part of the world, the werewolves rule, literally. They let the humans stick around to act as a DEW system, but other than that, there really isn't anything for the humans around. They just scrape the bottom of the barrel. When Kat goes out on a mission to get food, she ends up at the mercy of the werewolves. Ander is the Alpha of the Andorra Sector. He does everything he can to take care of his people and help keep them growing and advancing. So when his second brings in a human woman, he is interested, especially when it turns out that she can be a X-clan Omega. I loved this story. Just absolutely loved it. I think that Kat is incredibly fierce and strong. She wasn't afraid to fight when she needed to. I think that she also ended up in over her head at times, but that wasn't her fault. She got tossed into the Marianas Trench without any arm floaties. She did the best she could with what she had, but she only has so much, you know? I went back and forth with Ander. There were times when I just outright hated him. I mean, just wanted to freaking kill him a couple of times. I mean, he did some seriously stupid things that could've really crashed everything in really bad ways. Luckily, Riley was there. I can't wait for more in this world.
