A thread on Reddit was talking about the lack of friendship between women in fantasy. This book got recommended for if you want that (I do!). Someone asked how it would compare to Kings of the Wyld and apparently it does. But it isn't a humorous book. So if you like that in Kings of the Wyld you would maybe be a bit disappointed with this one.
I liked the humour in Kings of the Wyld and even though Bloody Rose had friendships between women, that felt like it was lacking something.
So I think this will be a better time on that front. But I am a bit hesitant about the humour. It has moments? Maar het is niet de insteek terwijl dat bij Kings of the Wyld wel zo was en dat vond ik juist leuk. We zullen het zien.
