This book not only offers durability but years of entertainment for your little one. At the beginning of the book little mouse is trying to find "his" bear but keeps coming up short because either the bear's toungue is too scratchy, or it's body is too fuzzy but in the end little mouse finds his bear. And he know that it is his bear because his ears are "so fluffy"

We have enjoyed this book for over four years now. It is a great introductory book for young babies and toddlers to feel textures and sturdy pages and then progresses into a beginners reading book. The story is cute and simple about little mouse finding "his" bear.

Some extension ideas for this book would be to have children glue various textures they find on to pre-printed bears. This would allow them to make their own perfect bear. Also you could have bear day at school and have each one bring their favorite bear and describe their favorite feature on their own bear.

first read at 7 months. fantastic for a small boy. loved touching the pictures and turning the pages. And chewing them. So nice they are thick cardboard, and do not rip ( )

These are excellent touch and feel books. Unlike many others, they are virtually indestructible. So, my 14 month olds can play with them on their own and not rip them apart. They like the interesting textures and simple words. ( )
