This record is a good effort that should delight Miranda Lambert fans. There is a mix of styles. Some of the tracks are very Pistol Annies, some remind me of the slower pensiveness of her post-breakup album Vice, and then there is the fast rocking track, Locomotive. It is a bit uneven, though, with unspohisticated lyrics and fake smiles. The realistically optimistic "I got this" of Bluebird and the classic Miranda-defiance of Locomotive are refreshing while It all Comes Out in the Wash and White Trash are fun. ( )
