But if it doesn't bother you to see signs that read "Fresh Apple's $1" then you might not want to read this - though for you it's probably even more important. ;)

But the main thing about this is that it's fun and lively, and clear, and can be used to help cement the understanding of the 'easier' punctuation marks.

A fabulous picture book in the tradition of Lynne Truss. That darn greedy apostrophe just won't stay where he's supposed to! ( )

What an adorable book – I read it while babysitting my nephews. That apostrophe is really greedy and wants to get in on all the punctuation. Great illustrations also – very colorful. We had a great time reading it.

I chose to read this book because I thought it looked like an interesting way to teach children about apostrophes. If I were to put this into a classroom library, I would do so in a older classroom. I thought that some of the sentences were confusing and the book was very wordy.
