This tale of Mormonism in the modern world is slim, but packed with information. It is well researched and easy to read, but there was one moment in the beginning of the book where I was afraid I was going to be hit with one of those scare of the 90s that have since been demonstrated false, presented as "gospel". I stuck with it, and was pleasantly surprised to find out I was wrong. The book is really not comprehensive enough, however, to really give a picture of the role of religion in the political world. There is much more left out than is included, and some of the omissions are crucial. ( )
