Deacon is a really good inquirer, and I think he is before any of his specialties come into play. He's dogged, stubborn, and a good man. Kota is kind of fascinating to me We don't learn much about him in this book, so I'm hoping that there is going to be more books in the series coming soon so that we can learn more about Kota.
There's a lot of tension, the good kind, between Kota and Deacon. It's a slow burn to get them there, but it's a satisfying burn.
I really like Amos, and I hope that he's around more. ( )
