The photographs are large, and in full color, distributed as 1 to 3 per page. Several take up two - page spreads, and some visas are presented in four-page foldouts. All of the photos are
accompanied with explanatory text, pointing out structural and historical aspects of what is illustrated. At 256 pages, and provided with a index, this work presents a valuable record of the city's highlights.
Having recently returned from Prague, I enjoyed looking at some of the sites that I saw; however, I also regret not having seen others that are illustrated. But, the days were hot and crowds were everywhere; and you can't do everything. That sort of thing is why books like this are published.... (
