There is a table of contents that list which book each poem is from. All of her poems in this collection are rhyming. Some of her poems are written wavy. Others are written sideways. She is very creative with her text. Some are written with the font small and it gets larger as the poem continues. I love the humor in her poems. I like that she writes about different random objects, For instance, she writes a poem about a radish. I think poems are just things that are going on in our brains. We naturally wonder about the things that we see and why they are the way they are. ( ) This is a cute book of poetry based on things we see almost every day. From animals to people and plants, this book has a little poem for them all. These little poems would be a great for introducing poetry to younger children. It could also be a fun read for children that have started learning poetry. I would suggest this book to other teachers as well. I feel as though a lot of lessons can be based off of the poems in this book. I think it is a good way to help students jump start there learning of poetry. "The Sky is Always in the Sky" is a collection of poems that are quite unique. These poems all tell of something different, but the subject of each one is so unique. The poet who wrote these tells of random things like butter, bugs, caterpillars, and toads. While each poem tells of something completely different from the other, the style is pretty much the same throughout. The poet uses rhyme in each poem through this book. For example, "within a wood I simply stood". The poet also uses the element of imagery throughout her poems. For example, (about a fish) "finning through seaweed". I thoroughly enjoyed reading this collection of poems. Each one was different and unique and had a good rhythm to it. The illustrations were simple, yet effective in complementing the different poems. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
