Thomas’ mother Helen suffers from depression. One day she disappears somewhere near the airport and never returns. Thomas and his father are left grieving and struggling to understand her absence. With the help of his neighbors Giselle and Mrs. Sharp, Thomas creates a story to explain where Helen went and why.
