![]() Ninguno Actualmente no hay Conversaciones sobre este libro. ![]() I think this is a great book. I liked the different languages the author-incorporated Spanish into the book. For example, when the booked talked about a boy, the author replaced “boy” with “Nino”. Another reason I like this book is because of how interactive the book. The book is about friends making a pinata, and at the end of the book, it gives directions on how to make a pinata at home. The main point of this book is to expose children to other languages as well as show teamwork. In my opinion this is a great picture book. I love that it offers some Spanish vocabulary mixed in with the English vocabulary. I like how the students can predict what the Spanish word means by looking at the illustrations. For example, the book says “torn by the gato”, and the students can look at the image and realize gato means cat. I also like that the book offers a engaging activity at the end of the book, it offers instructions for how to make a pinata. The main message from this story is the importance and fun of cultural celebrations. Children can take away from this book some new Spanish terms, and how different people have different cultural celebrations and what those celebrations are like. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
