An interesting an varied collection of only 8 science fiction short stories. All of them were enjoyable some especially so. The more memorable ones, including the titular Organism concerned repeating tales told from different view/time points, which is a hard task to master, and was well executed with believable different voices and motivations for the different characters and a good overlapping of events without repetition but clever re-analysis of events.

None of the tales had that twisted shock of an ending that can mark a standout story from others, but all of them were well done, inventive and varied. ( )
