I think this book would be good for intermediate level students and especially students who speak English and Spanish. The book is about Little Lobo and what he might see at the market while he is delivering things to people. they see a lot of different things. This book depicts latin culture, and varying levels of latin culture. This book primarily does this using Spanish vocabulary amidst english in sentences. The author also uses different mediums of art to show this culture in this book. I would recommend this book to k-2nd grade students, as it is created with more images than words. There are a good amount of words, but there was more pictoral content than language. This would be a nice book for primary students and younger intermediate students. The book contains the story of a wolf and a dog who go on a journey through their town, delivering different materials to local merchants. The book contains very detailed images and has words written in spanish throughout the pages next to certain objects. The wolf and the dog bring all of the townspeople their supplies, and get surprised at the end of the book by meeting their towns here, El Toro. This book was helpful because of the detailed images, and the way it positively portrays Spanish culture and language. I would use this book in a read aloud because of how I can help my students infer what the words in Spanish are from the context clues around them, and it can show another culture to students. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
