"Anna: The story behind the star" is the life story of a girl who started dreaming of being an actress at the age of six. Her parents were separated and she lived with her mother. The girl doesn't lose hope when her mother can't afford acting lessons and starts teaching herself. The story follows her as year after year, she comes closer to her dream, whether it be by her talent or by her looks.
The book is gripping, I wanted to know what happens in her life. I don't know anything about the acting world, but it seemed realistic. After a time, the story was a little repetitive. It was sex, a part in a show, sex and again a part. The last few pages increased my interest and I loved the ending. It was different from the rest of the book. ( )
