The Hero, I use that term loosely, says he wants a divorce, there is no-one else. She moves on with her life, getting a career, becoming fitter, smartens herself up and 'finds' herself. She has another man interested. They don't have sex but are intimate even though she's still married, but they are separated. I felt she would have been better off with the new man. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

Brad is a jerk. Nicole has done what she has to allow his dream to come true. He does not want to work to save their marriage. She decides she is going to take care of herself--better eating, exercise, get a job, get a new place for her and the children. She gets all that and a new man walks into her life at work--her boss, Davis. He is attentive and supportive and shows her what she's been missing. Now Brad wants to work things out--like I said--a jerk. I like Nicole but she needed to learn not to accept Brad's treatment of her. I really liked Davis--a lot. He was a good man.
I'm interested in reading the rest of the series to see how the other characters' stories turn out. ( )
