Most of the story was great if you skimmed the sex scenes. But I figured going into this series there wouldn't be a ton of plot. And really, Allison is 18; as she reminds us repeatedly! The twist in the beginning with Allison's father was one I didn't really see coming, but I like that she figured it all out fairly quickly.
When she broke her mother out of jail, I felt that was a bit far-fetched for my liking, guess I watched to much Prison Break!
The "battle" was a bit of a letdown, but I did see the potential for an epic one, Stunich just didn't really deliver on that end. And Allison getting stuck Topside was extremely aggravating, not that she got stuck, but her whining and complaining was annoying.
The "wedding" was another let down for me, as was the final sex scene with all 9 men. It was really just lack luster all around and I felt that the ending was completely rushed to met a deadline. I'm just glad I didn't have to wait between books because that would have left a really bad taste in my mouth. ( )
