This book is about people from different parts around the world and the reason why they decide to cover their heads every day in various forms of headdresses depending on their culture. The author was very clear in his book that people choose to cover their heads to show their love for God. The author mentions the Hijab, Rasta Hat, and Kippah, to name a few along with a beautifully accurate illustration of that head covering, and to make this book even more surprising, the author shows you how to pronounce each headdress correctly. The author ends this book with a beautiful sentence, "Learning about each other makes it easy to be more understanding. Being understanding helps us spread LOVE AND PEACE." If I can rate this book seven stars, I would. This book is going to be a staple in my class library. ( )

This was a very cute book about the appropriate terminology for the religious headwear that many individuals wear to show for their love for God. It touched on many religions and many cultures, also including the gender that typically wore the headwear. The book was bright and colorful in its illustrations. While a quick read, it was very educational and tightened the relationship of "differences" that religions share, finding a common ground between them. ( )

Hats of Faith is one of those books that are short, sweet and to the point. This book discusses the many different hats people wear around the world from different cultures and religions. In the book, there were beautiful illustrations showing the different hats such as a: Turban, Hijab, Rasta Hat, Patka, Tichel, Chunni, Topi, Kippah, and Head Wrap. ( )
