*I got this book form the publisher for my honest thoughts*

I found this to super fun read. I thought it was much more realistic and science heavy version of 39 clues. This book def had a strong mix of adventure and mystery but also knowledge and history and science. I really loved the structure of this book and all the characters were just so much fun to read about. I really enjoyed the trio of characters that developed and am super excited to see how the ending and will effect the structure of the future books. I also loved how this book had so many pictures to accent the story. Readers who enjoyed 39 clues may like this if they looking for more of realistic story, should check it out! I am def going to read book 2! ( )

This exciting story of a pre-teen boy who joins the Explorer Academy has fact within the fiction. Real places are used, like Hawaii, and there are profiles at the end of the book about real national Geographic scientists!

I really liked this book. (and I also just relized I say that way too many times in all my reviews😝) Fun book with lots of pictures! ( )

I appreciate that the author makes real science and real places exciting. The diversity in the characters is also a plus. Also, the illustrations and the lay-out of this book is one of the best I have ever seen. In the back of the book is a appendix called All the Truth Behind the Fiction. This is exceptional, again I have never seen it in any other fiction book for children. ( )
