Fun sports romance

This was a cute book. I love sports romances and this one sucked me in. I like seeing each person's point of view, it makes the story fun. I liked that there wasn't too much drama, it was mostly romance and their relationship building. Harlow's stepmom was a huge bitch and I felt bad for Harlow that she had to deal with her. The story flowed really well and was a quick read. I like that Brady cared so much for Harlow and was willing to change how he acted to be with her. He was a genuinely nice guy and very sweet. I will definitely be checking out the other books in this series. ( )

This was my first book by Jacob Chance. While this is not a new type of story, it was a refreshing one. It also happens to be my favorite sub genre of romance. Brady and Harlow are 2 college students, that never should mesh well, yet suprisingly they do. Harlow has a few surprises up her sleeve, and it's those surprises that keeps a player like Brady coming back. There is a big twist to the story, and it kind of left me with a big WTF Moment, but it washes out. There is another surprise in the book, and it was not fleshed out, or talked about after the initial bomb drop,so I really did not like that.
Over all the story of these two, is great, it's fleshed out, and the characters are not so far fetched you the reader are left feeling like this could never be real. This story is told in alternating views. ( )
