While the title poem for this collection was quite good, I found the remaining poems to be rather devoid of meaning. The language felt forced, the imagery was often bland or repetitive, and the overall tone of the volume fell flat compared to Hughes' other works. Maybe I've just been spoiled since I read his Crow poems first, and it's obvious that those were the pinacle of his career. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
