In Say You Love Me, we get a more complete picture of who Dawson is as he shares about his past experiences with Clara Benson—a woman he’s talked to on the phone but just meets at the beginning of this story.
This was a fun read because from the start, Clara and Dawson agree to tell each other the truth. There’s no miscommunication (or lack thereof) between these two. Yet, there is plenty of tension and spark between them. And some large hurdles to get over.
I enjoyed hanging out with Clara and Dawson as they fought their attraction while spending time together. Dawson is respectful of Clara’s wishes while remaining someone she can depend on when she needs a friend.
A quick and sweet read for the romantic in you.
