Not much improvement My response to this book is about the same as to the one last year. https://www.librarything.com/work/20557810/edit/147525112 Lots of random chatter, cast of characters that are quite similar to each other outside of their looks. Short set pieces instead of real character development. I won't try book 3 if there is one. I received a review copy of "Blood Ghast Blues: Standalone Sequel to Black Box Inc." by Jake Bible (Bell Bridge Books) through NetGalley.com. Blood Ghast Blues (Black Box Inc. #2) by Jake Bible is a book I requested from NetGalley and the review is voluntary. I am a big fan of his books anyway but this is certainly in a different off shoot from his other books. I didn't read the first book and had no problem jumping into this and not getting lost but I did read some spoilers from book one so read book one first! This is going in my favorites folder... Loved the great fantasy, magical power, creatures such as trolls, dopplers, ghouls as drivers, his team member is a Yeti, lawyer is a Siren, and so many more creatures! A crazy ride with a twisty plot, great unique characters, humor and snark added along the way! I will have to read book one now! Great job! sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

This one also has Chase, the guy who can reach between dimensions and manipulate the Dim, and his employees. These employees include a zombie, a Yeti, and a gal raised by fae Mafia. They get a job after ghasts are about and they are like ghosts but go inside someone/something then blows the individual up from the inside! There are lots of twists and turns in this story! Lots of action, adventure, new creatures, love the characters and plot, and world building! This is a fun book!
