The seasons in the book is not your normal seasons it is actually the seasons of life. This book uses a family with two kids and explain the things they go through day by day. The kids in my class knew what some of the pages where without me reading them such as the young child losing his kite and crying. They loved the book and all the pictures. It also showed them how planting and other things where done in the past. ( ) This book is a Bible verse broken into pages and illustrations for a younger audience. Daly used awesome imagery to help tell the story. The seasons talked about are not actual seasons of weather, but seasons of life. Daly though uses images to portray different seasons through this book. Overall I loved this book, and it will become a staple in my personal library. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

'To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven.' The words of Ecclesiastes take on new life and meaning in the sun-baked rural setting of a South African homestead. Describing sowing, planting, reaping, celebration and sadness and other events of life, Jude Daly shows an ageless world in miniature. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
