I just finished Over the Moon at the Big Lizard Diner. It was a pleasant story, a mixture of romance and mystery. worth the read ( )

Nice little book -- Lisa Wingate seems to have taken on that approach to this kind of literature where she focuses on one character of a group or family per book. This is now the third book that focuses on a woman and her best friends, who happen to be (fraternal twin) sisters. They each find happiness in a little town in Texas. Other characters appear in side roles in the books. Tra la. ( )

Lindsey’s missing her daughter and so agrees to go to Big Lizard Bottom to solve the theft of dinosaur tracks and manages to fall in love while there. Adorable dog involved, but the affirmation junk wore on me… ( )

I found this in the bargain books and it turned out to be a treasure. Lisa Wingate created a story with likeable characters. The main character is Lindsey, a single mother alone for the summer as her daughter is visiting her long absent father. While at a Texas ranch investigating stolen dinosaur tracks, Lindsey becomes more than just a single mom and archaeologist. She deals with her fears and a new romance. I couldn't put this book down and look forward to reading more from this author. ( )
